System Requirements for DJ-Serv

In order to run DJ-Serv, you computer should meet the following requirements:

Pentium 4 or equivalent CPU, suggested speed at least 1GHz

Operating System Windows XP Home, Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003 or (at a push) Windows 2000

At least 256 MB RAM

All latest service packs installed

Windows Installer 3.0 MUST be installed prior to running the DJ-Serv Installer program

Microsoft Data Access Components Installed (NOTE: This does NOT mean you need the Access program installed; it just means that MDAC must be installed, which is anyway on all fully patched XP installs.)

Although DJ-Serv may run on under-spec machines (provided the operating systems are correct), you may experience problems with slow operation, audio skipping and a wealth of other problems. It is therefore recommended you adhere to the requirements above.

Windows 2000 does *not* allow input device sharing. This will manifest as errors when trying to use the Live Source Player if the input
device is already in use. For this reason, we do not recommend the use of Windows 2000 for DJ-Serv.
